I recorded this cover years ago when Texas was seemingly pulling out all the stops to put an end to legal abortion. They didn't pull it off then but the events unfolding with the Supreme Court now and the battle that will be continuing throughout the summer (and on & on & on) for a woman's right to choose a safe, legal abortion makes the lyrics to this song feel more relevant than ever. Written in 1993.
